Infectious diseases have been humanity’s constant companion through-out history. Join us to discuss the history of the 1918 Flu Pandemic along with the Yellow Fever epidemic of 1793, and their effect on human behavior. We will take an in-depth look at these outbreaks, and how they affected individuals and society on many psychological levels. Finally, we will utilize history to understand how we can assist clients in coping with the severe anxiety, and resulting aggravation of mental health and substance use disorders from the Covid-19 Pandemic.
